Ashley Soong is a Taiwanese-American fashion photographer and creative director based in Boston and New York City.

Ashley began her career as a model during college and has accumulated over a decade of experience modeling for clients such as Living Proof, Reebok, and Amica. Ashley then parlayed her front-of-camera talents into becoming a photographer, collaborating with the top model agencies in New York to photograph their new and established talent.

Ashley’s work then caught the eyes of prestigious publications such as InStyle, Teen Vogue, V Magazine, and Vogue Italia, which led to working with top fashion editors and celebrity talent, such as Lana Condor and Ariel Winter, on a multitude of editorial projects.

Ashley has a rare perspective on the experience before the lens, enabling her to develop a high level of intimacy on set and an instinctual sense of mood and movement. Her work is disarming in its depth of emotion and dynamic composition. This balance has allowed her to shoot diverse projects, from fashion editorials to beauty campaigns to fascinating travel reportage.

Through these inspirations and concepts, Ashley has developed a refined portfolio and has a clear and unique perspective to bring to editorial, celebrity, and commercial assignments.
